Scholarship Opportunities

There are scholarship opportunities through Junior Auxiliary of Saline County as well as the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries.

 

JA of Saline County provides a Traditional Scholarship to a graduating high school senior. The winner chosen by JA of Saline County is eligible to receive a $3,000 scholarship for one year to further their education at the four year university of their choice.

 

The Traditional Scholarship winner must be a Saline County Resident. Applications can be submitted to school counselors or mailed to Junior Auxiliary of Saline County.

The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA) also has scholarships available for graduate students. Individuals seeking graduate degrees that plan on working directly with children are eligible to apply for the scholarships. This includes Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, Gifted and Talented, Speech Pathology and many other related fields.

 

The scholarship application period is from September 1 through February 1. Information and applications are available from the NAJA website at www.najanet.org. Please let JA of Saline County know if you need assistance with the application process!
